Developing a Collection of ART BY WOMEN

THE FIREBIRD COLLECTION
The Firebird Collection brings together works by leading women and non-binary artists from the early twentieth century to the present day. With an international outlook, it incorporates a wide variety of disciplines and media including painting, photography, sculpture, textile and ceramic. The collection aims to support meaningful discussions around artistic practices and to foster a more inclusive art world.
Since the collection was established in 2020, it has grown to include significant works by artists including Olga de Amaral, Elizabeth Colomba, Tracey Emin, Helen Frankenthaler, Barbara Hepworth, Bridget Riley, Cindy Sherman and many others.
LOANS
We aim to make the collection as accessible as possible through loans to public museums and institutions. Works from The Firebird Collection have been displayed at venues including The Albertina Museum, Vienna; Famm, Mougins; Tate, London; Towner Eastbourne; Turner Contemporary, Margate and many others.
We welcome requests to borrow works of art. Please get in touch if you would like more information: cameron@firebirdcollective.co.uk
ADVANCING GENDER EQUITY

The Firebird Collection works with Firebird Foundation to invest in organisations that advance gender equity. We believe in the transformative power of visual art in enabling women and children to thrive and are committed to using our collective resources to make a greater impact than philanthropy or investment could do alone.
